Caitlyn Jenner’s ex-wives have shown her nothing but support and understanding publicly. But now, Linda Thompson, Jenner’s second wife, opens up about her marriage and how she knew about Jenner’s transition for decades.
Thompson, known for her award-winning songwriting, has had one of the interesting relationship track-records, forging a decade’s long romantic relationship with Elvis and later marrying Bruce Jenner. In her new memoir, A Little Thing Called Love, she delves into her relationship with Jenner and how him wanting to transition to a woman brought an end to the marriage.
Thompson conceived her two children, Brandon and Brody, with Bruce Jenner. And she was taken aback when during their fourth year of her marriage, he confessed to her that he “really would like to move forward with the process of becoming a woman.”
“Providing a candid look inside one of the most challenging moments of her life, Linda uncovers the struggles she went through as a woman and a mother, coming to terms with the reality of Bruce’s identity and resolving to embrace him completely no matter what, even as it meant they could no longer be together,” the description states.
A Little Thing Called Love provides an intimate perspective on the most famous transgender woman of our time and those whose lives were impacted by her choices.
