Golden Globe Awards – Gay Drama Moonlight Nominated for Five Awards

Today is a day for awards it seems, as we now have the nominations for the Golden Globe Awards. Just like the Critics Choice Awards, this awards ceremony honours television.

Among the nominees for the Golden Globe Awards 2017 is the gay drama Moonlight, which is a coming-of-age film that looks at the life of a gay black man in three different stages of his life. Moonlight is one of the most nominated films for next year’s awards.

We also see plenty of LGBT representation elsewhere, with bisexual actress Evan Rachel Wood of Westworld fame being nominated alongside Jeffrey Tambor of Transparent. While Ryan Reynolds is not LGBT himself, he is nominated for his role as pansexual anti-hero Deadpool.

There are other LGBT representative nominations in the list, so let’s take a look. Have you followed us on Facebook and Twitter?
