The third headliner has been announced for British Summer Time Hyde Park 2017, and it’s none other than Kings of Leon.
Kings of Leon will be joining the confirmed headliners of Green Day and Phil Collins. While there will of course be a huge selection of acts throughout the day, the main support for Kings of Leon will be Pixies and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.
For those of you thinking of attending, Kings of Leon will be a UK festival exclusive, meaning that there won’t be any appearance at other festivals such as Reading or Leeds next year. They will be finishing off their campaign of their latest album WALLS.
Drummer Nathan Followill said: “It’s always a pleasure to party with our amazing fans at Hyde Park.”
Penelope Boyd, Head of Events at The Royal Parks, said: “It’s hugely exciting to have Kings of Leon back in London for a UK festival exclusive next year. Since it began in 2013 Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park has become a firm favourite in the events calendar, bringing a diverse range of entertainment and the world’s biggest artists to this iconic park.”
Kings of Leon will be headlining British Summer Time on Thursday July 9, but they also have a few other tour dates across the country before they hit the capital for their festival appearance.
