Trump Gets Confused About Pulse Massacre

President-Elect Donald Trump was in Florida on Friday giving a victory speech in which he mentioned the Pulse massacre. However, he seems to be confused about the actual murderer and his origins.

While he was speaking in Orlando, Florida thanking voters for his presidential win, he began speaking about the Pulse mass shooting, when Omar Mateen walked into the gay bar and gunned down 49 innocent people. While talking to 911, the killer pledged allegiance to ISIS.

When Trump mentioned this massacre to the crowd that came out to greet him, he promised to “keep radical Islamic terrorists the hell out of our country.” He also boasted about having a new immigration system that would include “extreme vetting.”

However, it seems Trump is confused again because as most of us know, Mateen was born in the United States. In fact, the gunman was born in Queens, New York, so immigration and extreme vetting has nothing to do with this tragic situation.
