If Caitlyn Jenner wasn’t already in enough hot water after saying that she likes Ted Cruz and offering to become his administration’s “trans ambassador,” she is now adding fuel to the fire by attacking Hillary Clinton.
In the newest episode of Caitlyn Jenner’s “I Am Cait” reality show, she goes on a political rant attacking Clinton saying that she only “cares about herself” and not women in general.
“We need both sides, and if we’re unfortunate enough get Hillary as our next president, we need her on our side,” said the celebrity. “Although she won’t be — she couldn’t care less about women.” This rant seemed a little confusing, to say the least, considering Clinton is the only female candidate for president, not to mention she is so much more pro-LGBT than the Republican candidates.
Caitlyn says she doesn’t believe the Republican party is necessarily bad on LGBT issues. She excuses the party stating they are “just worried about much bigger issues than the trans issues.”
“We’re $18.5 trillion in debt,” she says on her show. “I think what they don’t realize is this country could collapse over this at some point, and if our country collapses, it doesn’t make any difference if you’re gay, trans, whatever.”
Do you think Caitlyn Jenner really believes what she is saying or is she just being controversial in the pursuit of good ratings?
