For the first time ever in the company’s history, Calvin Klein ads will feature same-sex couples.
This will be in the company’s autumn campaign, and will be targeted towards the younger generation and will apparently feature couples sexting and arranging hook-ups.
The images will be featuring an overly of text messages over the photos, which are shot by Mario Sorrenti, to give a narrative to the images.
The campaign will be featuring Reid Rohling and Ethan James Green as well as Torin Verdone, of Instagram fame who will be appearing alongside Imaan Hammam.
Melisa Goldie, who is chief marketing officer at Calvin Klein said: “Calvin Klein Jeans has a long history of combining sexual energy with cultural relevance. Through this campaign, we’re creating an emotional connection with today’s technology driven generation, highlighting the new normal channel for modern meet-ups.”
