Carol Nets Four Awards From New York Film Critics Circle

Carol seems to be gaining praise and awards everywhere it goes, and the New York Film Critics Circle Awards are no exception.

The film walked away victorious from the NYC Film Critics Circle, with the most awards of any nominee under its belt.

So, what awards did Carol get? Well, it won Best Picture, Best Screenplay for Phyllis Nagy’s adaptation of the Patricia Highsmith novel The Price Of Salt, Best Cinematography for Edward Lachman and Best director for Todd Haynes.

However, neither Cate Blanchett or Rooney Mara netted awards in the acting categories. Carol is currently showing in LA and NYC,  but will be widely releasing at Christmas. Can’t wait!
