The legend that is Cher is coming back with another string of shows which are probably going to sellout faster than you can say now on sale.
Cher has partnered up with AEG Live and MGM Resorts International in order to debut “Classic Cher”, a series of gigs in North America which will begin in February 2017.
Cher said: “I plan to make this my best show ever. I am extremely excited about both of these new theaters —they are state-of-the-art and beautiful.”
The tour will consist of Sine Vegas shows at the Park Theater at Monte Carlo, starting from February 8th 2017 and ending on February 25th. From there she’ll move on to Washington, DC for three nights at The Theater at MGM National Harbor.
Neither Cher or her reps have said a peep about whether Classic Cher will be on outside of these cities, or if it will remain exclusive to North America. The last time Cher performed live was of course her iconic Farewell Tour.
This was a hugely lengthy tour, which totaled 325 dates across roughly three years across North America, Europe and Oceania. While the Classic Cher tour probably won’t top the magnitude of that, the tour is still a welcome and surprising return for the star. Here’s hoping she does decide to grace Europe and Oceania with her presence once more, as I’m sure there are countless fans there who would jump at the chance to see her live.
Tickets for “Classic Cher” go on sale to the public Sunday, Oct. 23 at 10AM. Additional details can be found at Cher.com – be sure to act fast!
