The fight then begins to make sure Julianne’s pension benefits are passed on to her girlfriend.
The film will also feature such as names as Steve Carell and Michael Shannon. The film itself is based upon another film, this one a documentary which is also called Freeheld. The screenplay for this adaptation is written by Ron Nyswaner.
Earlier this year, Ellen Page spoke to Entertainment Weekly regarding this project, saying: “To be shooting the movie so soon after coming out was some of the most joy I’ve ever felt on a film set, which is a tricky thing to say because we’re telling a story that’s incredibly tragic. But the feeling of being out and playing someone who’s gay, and someone whose courage has allowed me to live my life, that feels amazing.”
