Gaywise FESTival opens in London

Fire Song

The tenth Gaywise FESTival, or GFEST, opens in London today.

The annual fetsival is a celebratuion of LGBT film, visual and perfomance arts, and takes places in venues throughut the capital.

Highlights incluide Fire Song, an award winning, coming-of-age story of a Canadian First Nation gay Anishinaabe teenager; the Short & Girly show, an all-female troupe performing comedy sketches and songs; and an exhibition of challenging and insightful queer art.

GFEST 2017 runs until 25 November at various venues in London.
