Happily Ever Poofter hits London

Like Disney? Raging homosexual? Then you’ll love Happily Ever Poofter!

The narrative of Happily Ever Poofter, which will be presented in various venues across London, is one of exploring identity, both culturally and physically.

Whilst Richard Watkins’ one-man show is centred on parodies of recognisable Disney Prince style characters, there is a sexual health and awareness through-line. It considers HIV prevention as well as cultural concerns surrounding the chemsex scene.

Just in time for Pride season in the capital, it’s a great example of LGBT+ art that pushes the boundaries and champions awareness and equality for those living with HIV in an uncertain socio-political landscape.

Profits will be going to the Terrence Higgins Trust.

Happily After Poofter is Above the Stag 1 -2 July, the Two Brewers 5 July, and the Canal Café 13 – 18 July.
