Hillary Clinton Campaign Video Says Fight For LGBT Equality Isn’t Over

Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has released a brand new campaign video which is appealing to LGBT voters.

The video begins with a speech from Hillary on International Human Rights Day in 2011: “Some have suggested that gay rights and human rights are separate and distinct. But in fact, they are one in the same.  Being LGBT does not make you less human. And that is why gay rights are human rights, and human rights are gay rights.”

The video then moves on, showing same-sex couples on screen as a more recent speech from Hillary narrates over the top: “It’s outrageous that in 2015 you can still be fired for being gay, you can still lose your home for being gay, you can even be denied a wedding cake for being gay. This kind of discrimination goes against everything we stand for as a country. I’m running for president to stand up for the fundamental rights of LGBT Americans and all Americans.”
