Homophobes Tried To Boycott These Pro-Gay Companies, Their Profits Went Up Instead

We all know the perpetually offended One Million Moms, as they have been boycotting things left and right. From crisps to soup, no product is safe. Happily though, it seems their efforts had no effect at all.

One month ago, One Million Moms and Fox host Todd Starnes called for boycotts on both Frito-Lay/PepsiCo over a pro-LGBT campaign. The campaign they were so upset by, was the hugely successful rainbow Doritos campaign. These were special edition Doritos with money going towards LGBT charities which sold out of their limited bags in just 24 hours.

According to reports, in the month since the boycotts were called, PepsiCo’s profits were up 10%. Ha!

Our good friend JoeMyGod has said that Doritos had an increase of 3% in sales. We can probably expect a similar failure for their current campaign against Campbell’s, after their pro-gay soup ad.
