It seems James Franco just can’t stay away from gay movies. His newest venture is a remake of a 90’s made for TV movie entitled, Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?
The film is about a teenager and her love affair with a female vampire. James Franco produced the movie, and brought in Tori Spelling, who stared in the original, to play the role of the mother.
That film will air on US channel, Lifetime, and is described “as a vampire love story that brings a whole new meaning to ‘sleeping with danger.’”
In the movie, a teenager introduces her mother to her new lesbian lover, and even though everyone seems happy, the mother “can’t shake the feeling that something is very wrong.”
Set your DVR for June 18th, when the movie premieres.
