Kim Davis Speaks Out In First Interview

Kim Davis sat down in her very first interview yesterday, where she spoke with ABC News’ Paula Faris. In this interview, Davis spoke about the backlash she has gotten since she was jailed for contempt of court.

The full interview will air on Good Morning America and The View today, but there is a small preview available, here.

Paula asked her: “I know it hasn’t been easy for your family. You’ve received death threats. You have a lot of negative emails, a lot of negative fans, critics. What’s hurt you the most?”

To this, Davis replied: “What people say about me does not define who I am. That’s everybody’s opinion and that’s everybody’s right. I’ve been called things and names that I didn’t even say when I was in the world. Those names don’t hurt me. What probably hurt me the worst is when someone tells me that my God does not love me or that my God is not happy with me, that I am a hypocrite of a Christian.”

You can see a photo of the all the mail Davis has received in a tweet below.

Davis will also be speaking to Fox News’ Megyn Kelly on Wednesday.
