We already knew that February would be a big month for Lady Gaga when we reported that she would be performing a tribute to David Bowie at the Grammy’s. And now we are thrilled to hear that the mega star has another massive music event up her sleeves. Yes, Lady Gaga will be the one to perform the national anthem at this year’s Super Bowl 50.
Lady Gaga is another huge name on the roster for the big game, which includes a halftime show headlined by ColdPlay. We have heard that Beyonce and Bruno Mars will also be strutting their stuff with appearances during the halftime festivities.
Lady Gaga is following in the colossal footsteps of other artists who were invited to perform the national anthem at previous Super Bowls, such as Cher, Billy Joel, Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, and Idina Menzel.
Super Bowl 50 will air on Sunday, February 7th.
