Liza Minelli has just shown a rather heartwarming show of dedication to her fans, after she took a 200 mile Uber ride to a gig.
This impromptu ride took place in Wilmington, North Carolina after her flight back to Charlotte was turned back due to weather problems.
Liza had already spent most of the day on a plane, as she was flying from Los Angeles to North Carolina, but it was on her connecting flight to Charlotte that she ran into problems.
According to information from the New York Post, the pilot was forced to turn around following extreme turbulence.
The ride cost over $200 and took four hours, which is why this is such a simple but obvious show of dedicated from Liza.
According to her rep: “He [the Uber driver] drove all night and finally delivered Liza to her hotel at 6:30 a.m.”
But, because of this, the 1,500 fans at Cape Fear Community College were not left disappointed.
