Fans of Will & Grace may be asking how it could possibly get any better after seeing their favorite stars reunite for the surprise webisode of the popular sitcom. Well, ask and ye shall receive… maybe.
Megan Mullally recently said that a reboot of Will & Grace may actually be in the works after being off the air since 2006. She said during the interview:
“All I can say is that there is a very good chance that that might happen. It’s not happening right this second. I mean, we’re not rehearsing or anything like that. But there is a very good chance that something is going to materialize.”
Mullally continued: “So speaking theoretically, in a completely made-up world where Will & Grace is coming back to NBC for 10 episodes — just in that made-up world — it couldn’t be a better time…. I think more so now than even when we started! And who would have ever — I mean, it’s heinous that it’s because Donald Trump is the president-elect.”
As you may recall, the foursome did a fantastic mini-reunion to support Hillary Clinton a few months back.
And if Mullally’s statements didn’t wet your appetite enough, the actress tweeted out a photo of herself with some of the cast of the hit show. She made it clear that this was not actually from the soundstage, but that does nothing to temper our excitement about the show’s possible return.
We miss you Will & Grace, and we hope to see you again soon!
