Netflix Is Bringing Back Queer Eye For The Straight Guy

The popular Bravo show that has been off the air for the last decade is coming back to the small screen. Thanks to Netflix, Queer Eye For The Straight Guy is getting a total reboot. The network purchased 8 episodes for season 1 of the new Queer Eye.

However, the bad news is that the old cast is not returning. Instead, the Queer Five will replace the original stars– Carson Kressley, Ted Allen, Kyan Douglas, Thom Filicia, and Jai Rodriguez. But rumor has it that they may still have a small role to play in the new show, possibly doing cameos (fingers crossed). Their replacements are yet to be cast, but the original executive producing partners Michael Williams and Rob Eric have confirmed their return for the revival show.

“In a time when America stands divided and the future seems uncertain, a team of five brave men will try to bring us closer together with laughter, heart, and just the right amount of moisturizer,” said the show’s producers in a statement. “The Emmy Award-winning Queer Eye is back and ready to Make America Fabulous Again. With a new Fab 5 and the show’s toughest missions to date, Queer Eye moves from the Big Apple to turn the Red States pink — one makeover at a time.”

We are giddy with anticipation! Way to go, Netflix!
