New Victim In Florida Is 10th Trans Woman Murdered In US In 2015

Last weekend saw a real tragedy, as 25-year old India Clark posted her last selfie via a Facebook page, with the caption “Happy Saturday”. Just a few days later, she was found dead in a park in Tampa, Florida.

As horrible as her death is, what makes it even worse is she is know the 10th trans woman to be murdered in the US this year.

When speaking with the WTSP, India’s mother said: “I still love them — and he knew that. I can say he knew his mother loved him regardless.” She went on to describe her as “a good-hearted person. Very loving person.”

India Clark, who was missing for some time before she was found, suffered blunt force trauma. Horribly, her last words when heading out the door were: “Mom, I love you, dad, I love you.” And we both said “we love you too.” I hope they find out who did this.”

If you think you may know anything, a reward of $3,000 is on offer from Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay, for information leading to an arrest of a suspect. They can be reached 1-800-873-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimestopperstb.com.
