[pb_lay_raw]If you are looking to hit the highlights of the New York Pride events, we’ve got you covered.
Today, Saturday, June 25th is all about Teaze, NY’s exclusive event for women. It’s taking place from 3-10pm at Hudson River Park. It’s supposed to be a rocking event, hosted by a number of A-list DJ’s including DJ Samantha Ronson, DJ Toni*k and DJ Tatiana.
And this year, the WE party returns to the Hammerstein Ballroom on W. 34th Street. Starting 10pm tonight, the ballroom will be transformed to match this year’s theme: Graffiti. Imagine the old back alleys and subways of New York. This theatrical production will feature amazing dancers, artists, and performers, reaching the high bar established by Masterbeat.
The main event takes place tomorrow, Sunday June 16th with The March, which starts at noon. The parade starts at 36th Street and Fifth Avenue and ends at Christopher and Greenwich Streets. The lineup this year is huge and impressive!
PrideFest, the LGBT street festival which prolongs the party, will also be sizzling on Sunday from 11am-6pm. Attendance is free and for the first time, VIP tickets are also available.
Femme Fatale is the newest Sunday event for women only. It’s a rooftop party at Hudson Terrace from 4-10pm, with a roster chock full of celebrity DJs.
Dance on the Pier, with headliner Fergie, will take place from 2-10pm Sunday. In addition to its impressive roster of performing artists, this event will host the world’s longest running LGBT fireworks display. This is a ticketed event, but all proceeds will go towards LGBT charities and events.
We hope to see you all there!
