San Antonio City Council Block Chick-fil-A Airport Location Bid

The San Antonio City Council has barred Chick-fil-A from opening a location in the San Antonio International Airport. It was decided against allowing the location due to what they claim is a “legacy of anti-LGBT behavior.” This stems from Chick-fil-A’s WinShape Foundation donating millions of dollars to anti-LGBT groups.

The restaurant chain has communicated that it would like to have a dialogue with the city council regarding this decision. The city council wants San Antonio to be seen as an inclusive place that believes in equality.
