Egyptian authorities have arrested seven men after a gay wedding video they appeared in went viral on social media.
The video, which took place last April, showed two men exchanging rings on a Nile riverboat.
The video went viral on YouTube when the men were arrested with "incitement to debauchery" and "publishing indecent images".
In as statement the public prosecutor's office that the images were "humiliating, regrettable and would anger God".
The prosecutor went on to say that the men would be held in custody for four days, pending enquiries.
