If you are anything like us, you have a lot of shopping to do this time of year! We have compiled a list of the best LGBT friendly companies and retailers. Let’s encourage them to continue doing what they are doing to support the LGBT community!

American Apparel

You will be hard-pressed to find a company that backs the gay community more than American Apparel. They are the ones who designed the “Legalize Gay” shirts and put transgender models on another line of LGBT friendly shirts.

Gap and Levi’s

In March 2015 Gap and Levi’s issued a joint statement condemning a law in the state of Indiana which could allow business owners to refuse LGBT customers.

Gap has also partnered with GLADD to create emotional and powerful videos of gay employees coming out.

Levi’s released a line of Pride themed shirts and hats in 2014 to show its support of the LGBT community.

 Adidas

Three of Adidas’ most famous shoes got painted rainbow colors in 2015 to be part of their “Pride Pack.” A portion of the sales from these shoes went to New Avenues for Youth, an advocacy group focused on homeless LGBT teens.

Apple

As you probably know, Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, is openly gay, and thousands of employees participated in 2014’s Pride events.

Tiffany & Co.

In 2015, the company designed an ad featuring a gay couple. They released a statement saying that the company believes love comes “in a variety of forms.”

Starbucks

As you may already know, Starbucks is hugely supportive of the LGBT community. Not only has it released commercials featuring drag queens, we recently reported how many Starbucks’ cafes are safe havens for victims of LGBT related violence.
