Most Star Wars fans are looking forward to Star Wars Rogue One, and of course, Episode 8. However, the Han Solo spin-off is no small matter and we are keenly waiting to see who will play Han’s younger self.
The process to fill the shoes left by Harrison Ford’s iconic performance has been rather extensive, with thousands either attending auditions or sending in audition tapes. However, we are close to finding the actor for the part, with reports coming in on the final shortlist.
While these reports could be inaccurate, let’s take a look at the final group of actors contending for the role of young Han Solo.
He is probably (sadly) best known for his role in Transformers Age of Extinction, but he has had much better roles in films such as What Richard Did and Macbeth.
While Alden has less of the “looks the part” feel to him, he has some serious acting chops. His best known roles are in films like Beautiful Creatures, Hail Caesar and Stoker.
Our final actor on the shortlist also has quite the versatile resume, as he has played roles in films like Kingsman, Legend and Eddie the Eagle.
You may have also heard rumblings that Miles Teller and Ansel Elgort are in the running for the role, but recent reports have insinuated that they are no longer in the running.
