YouTube Star Ingrid Nilsen “I’m Gay” And Emotionally Comes Out On Camera

Vlogging (Video Blogs) are becoming increasingly popular, and one of the biggest Vloggers, Ingrid Nilsen (known as Miss Glamorazzi on YouTube) has almost 3.4 million subscribers on her YouTube channel.

The YouTube star uploads video content on fashion, beauty and comedy videos such as “how to not pack your suitcase”. Her latest upload has earned over 2 million views in just 24 hours, as Ingrid Nilsen comes out in front of the camera.

“Hey,” says Ingrid, drawing in a deep breath, “I’m doing this. I guess I’m just going to get right to it. There’s something I want to tell and that something is… I’m gay. It feels so good to say that.”

“I’m shaking right now because this moment is real and it’s here, and I’ve been waiting for this a really long time. I’m sitting here today because I care about you guys, you’ve been part of my life for over six years and this is a really big part of my life. I wanted to sit down and talk to you just like I’ve had this conversation with friends and people who are close to me in my life.

The 26-year-old said she had had crushes on other girls since she was just six years old, but tried to date men several times in the past, before she eventually came to terms that she was a lesbian.

Nilsen went on to say that: “I have had this wall up for so much of my life, but it wasn’t like this brick or stone wall.

“I’ve described it to my friends as this glass wall, where you could see me but you were never getting all of me, because there was always that barrier there.

“I want to live my life unapologetically because I am proud of who I am and I am not going to apologize for who I am anymore,” she continued. “This is the life I always lived in my head and now it’s real.”
